Prenatal Yoga

A mom-to-be relaxes at the end of a prenatal yoga class.A practice uniquely designed for pregnancy, prenatal yoga supports moms-to-be emotionally and physically. A multifaceted approach to exercise, prenatal yoga encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing. Research suggests that prenatal yoga can have many benefits for pregnant women and their babies such as: improving sleep; reducing stress and anxiety; increasing the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth; and decreasing lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath. Prenatal yoga can also help you meet and bond with other pregnant women and prepare for the stress of being a new parent. Tuition is $90 for 6 weeks of classes plus the $5 processing fee. Pay per class option also available!
